Responsibilities & Qualifications

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement computer systems using a phased approach, including requirements analysis, conceptual and system design, site surveys, installation, integration, and testing.
• Perform comprehensive requirements analysis for a diverse range of end users, focusing on office automation and productivity solutions.
• Present proposed system designs at formal design reviews, including System Design Review (SDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR), to obtain user approval and stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct software integration activities, including configuring applications, resolving dependencies, and aligning software components with system architecture.
• Interpret and analyze software test results, identifying root causes of failures and recommending corrective actions.
• Manage and execute configuration management activities to maintain system integrity throughout development and implementation phases.
• Provide technical solutions to software problem reports, identifying appropriate patches, updates, or modifications to resolve defects.
• Support software lifecycle activities, including installation, maintenance, system administration, and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with software developers, system engineers, and stakeholders to align system capabilities with operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and agency specific standards related to software integration, testing, and configuration management.
• Document technical findings, test results, resolutions, and integration procedures to support future troubleshooting and audits.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in software integration, systems implementation, and lifecycle support.
  • Experience in performing requirements analysis and translating user needs into functional system specifications.
  • Strong background in system configuration, software integration, and system validation testing.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools and best practices for maintaining system baselines.
  • Ability to assess test outcomes and develop corrective actions for software-related issues.
  • Proven experience supporting the full lifecycle of software systems, including maintenance and administration.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present technical designs and findings clearly to stakeholders.

  Certifications

  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Red Hat, etc.)
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification
  • COMPTIA Security+ CE
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • COMPTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
    • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Global Industriel Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
    • Global Information Assurance Certification (GAIC) Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
    • Certified Network Defender (CND)
    • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

  Clearance

  • Secret - IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 3 (T3) investigation
