Program Manager II, Learning & Development

As a Program Manager II on the Learning & Development team, you’ll play a critical role in building and scaling learning experiences across Axon. You’ll help drive initiatives that strengthen onboarding, accelerate professional growth, and empower leaders at every level. From managing learning platforms and vendors, to coordinating training programs and measuring impact, your work will help create a culture of continuous learning that fuels Axon’s mission.

Work Location
This role is based out of our Seattle, WA location and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. What You’ll Do

Location: Seattle, WA office (travel up to 20% as needed)
Reports to: Senior Director, Culture & Employee Communication

  • Lead program management for core initiatives such as New Hire Orientation, leadership training, compliance learning, and skill development programs.
  • Manage logistics, scheduling, and delivery of virtual and onsite courses.
  • Partner with HRBPs, People Ops, and business leaders to align L&D programs with company goals and talent needs.
  • Oversee vendor relationships (e.g., LMS, training partners, coaches), ensuring quality, scalability, and ROI.
  • Manage communications around L&D programs — newsletters, intranet updates, learner outreach.
  • Track and analyze participation, feedback, and outcomes; maintain reporting dashboards to measure program effectiveness.
  • Support LMS (Workday) administration, content curation, and troubleshooting.
  • Facilitate small group learning when needed, reinforcing skills and creating opportunities for connection.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements that enhance the learning experience.

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience in L&D, program coordination, HR, or related areas
  • Proven ability to design, manage, or scale training programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong ability to engage and influence.
  • Top-notch organizational abilities, adept at multitasking, prioritizing, and delivering results in a high-energy setting.
  • Experience coordinating live and virtual events, with strong attention to detail and participant experience.
  • Comfortable working with data — from pulling feedback and usage reports to making recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams.
  • Self-starter with curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for fostering continuous learning.
  • Experience with LMS platforms (Workday preferred) and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Canva, etc.); instructional design or facilitation experience a plus.
