Job Summary

The Safety Assistant supports jobsite safety programs while assisting field leadership with daily operations. This position serves as a key point of contact for safety communication, helping to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities



Support and promote company and site-specific safety programs


Assist with safety orientations, audits, and inspections


Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards


Communicate safety expectations with field personnel and leadership


Assist with incident reporting and follow-up actions


Serve as on-site safety support for assigned projects



Requirements



Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)


Must be local to the Houston area


2+ years of safety or construction-related experience preferred


Willingness to travel to job sites preferred


OSHA 510/500 acceptable; OSHA 510 preferred


OSHA 30 preferred


CPR & First Aid certification


Must pass drug screen, background check, and physical


Strong communication and organizational skills
