Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Assistant Director of the Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center - Boca Raton, FL.
The Assistant Director of the Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center (MWC) is responsible for managing the clinical care provided in the MWC: this includes a combination of administrative and clinical practice responsibilities, which are related to the supervision of clinical personnel, policies, procedures, and practice. The Assistant Director is actively involved as a provider of patient care and in the coordination of patient care in order to ensure the smooth progression of the patient’s memory and wellness evaluation, follow-up and treatment. He/she is responsible for the general oversight of the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs and reports to the Director of the MWC on clinical and administrative matters, as assigned.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Assist with supporting the planning, organizing, and directing of MWC operations and activities.
Provide assistance with daily oversight of the operations of the MWC.
Ensure that related activities comply with established standards, requirements, laws, codes, regulations, policies and procedures.
Works with MWC Director in the preparation and submission of pertinent reports.
Ensure the MWC complies with governmental health center standards and regulations, including state and federal government regulations, accreditation and all other compliance measures (e.g., HIPAA, etc.).
Work closely with the entire MWC team to implement and oversee quality assurance/quality improvement program.
Responsible for providing clinical supervision and monitoring student learning outcomes of, including the review of assignments and management of cases.
Provide dementia-specific services and supports to patients, their families and communities.
Effective development of referral sources in collaboration with MWC marketing team.
Conduct effective outreach to increase the number of clients and contracts for services.
Coordinate with MWC Business staff to ensure the profitability of the clinical operations.
Establish meaningful relationships with other key representative officers of local health care agencies or other relevant agencies.
Submit required internal and external reports and forms in a timely and accurate manner
Provide technical information and assistance to the Director concerning health services, activities, needs and issues; assist in the formulation and development of policies, procedures and programs.
Actively contributes to MWC leadership team activities and strategic planning.
Performs other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
