In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud-native infrastructure while ensuring the highest standards of security, scalability, and operational excellence. </p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong> </p><p>As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our Azure-based infrastructure, implementing security best practices, and ensuring smooth operations of our SaaS platform. You will work closely with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p><p><strong>Infrastructure and Cloud Operations</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Design, maintain, and improve Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform and Terragrunt </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Manage and optimize AKS clusters, including Istio service mesh implementation for enhanced service-to-service communication and security </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Implement and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that support our growing SaaS platform </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Oversee Azure resource management, including networking, Key Vault, Blob Storage, and Azure Cosmos DB </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Configure and maintain OpenSearch clusters for logging and search capabilities </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Optimize CosmosDB performance, scaling, and cost management </p></li></ul><p><strong>DevOps Practices and Automation</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Lead and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for automated deployments </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain automation scripts (primarily in Bash) to improve operational efficiency </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes and developer workflows </p></li></ul><p><strong>Security and Compliance</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Implement and maintain Zero Trust security architecture using Azure PIM and RBAC </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Enforce security best practices and least privilege principles across the infrastructure </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Manage Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and network security configurations in Azure </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices </p></li></ul><p><strong>Monitoring and Reliability</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Design and implement comprehensive observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Azure Log Analytics Workspace, and Application Insights </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Participate in on-call rotation to provide production support and incident response </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain and improve system reliability metrics and SLAs </p></li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong> </p><ul><li><p>5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience in SaaS or cloud-native environments </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proven expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure and services </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong experience with: </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure management </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Kubernetes (AKS) and Helm in production environments </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Istio Service Mesh and Istio Ingress Gateways </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>ArgoCD and GitOps methodologies </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>CI/CD pipeline development in Azure DevOps </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Demonstrated experience implementing Zero Trust security, PIM, and RBAC </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Practical knowledge of observability tools including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proficiency in scripting and automation, particularly with Bash </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong programming skills in Python or Go for automation and tooling development </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Track record of production support and on-call rotation participation </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast
