Salary Range: $35.00 - $40.16  

*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices 

Position Summary

Provides programmatic support for departmental educational programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the application, recruitment, selection and/or onboarding processes for departmental educational/trainee program(s). May need to contact applicants for missing or incomplete application information.
  • Maintains electronic and hard copy files and databases. Maintains integrity of information.
  • Prepares program materials.
  • Advises students on issues related to curriculum (needs for courses, transfers, etc), consulting with faculty as appropriate.
  • Maintains evaluation, examination, and other records for each student to evaluate and certify students’ academic progress toward graduation. Counsels students on issues with their progress.
  • Maintains and provides program data instrumental to institutional training grants, fellowships, state and federal funding, recruiting, and donor relations.
  • Organizes program event activity, including budgeting, conference rooms/meeting space, agenda development and on-site coordination.
  • Organizes internal and external marketing. Manages communications, electronic and hard copy, of program initiatives, events and milestones.
  • Generates reports for analysis.

Education

  • High School Diploma

Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Approximately 3 years of related experience in an academic environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
