CNC Manufacturing Technician

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop programs for CNC Turning and Milling centers with 4 axis capabilities for New Product Launches and Optimization of Processes already launched. 
• Monitoring work centers for Performance and Improvement opportunities 
• Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve problems concerning machining operations, tools, materials and CNC programs. 
• Design and fabricate fixtures as required for machining and gaging operations. 
• Work with engineering, supervisory and management personnel to troubleshoot and resolve design, equipment and operating issues. 
• Assist in the training of lower-level machinists in machine operations, answering work related questions, resolving machining problems, and reviewing completed work assignments. 
• Creates programs to control the operation sequence and cycling of CNC Machining centers 
• Utilizes drawings or CAD models to support program development 
• Complete understanding of machine control management, including mastering of all machine code terminology, usage, along with macro programming usage 

Your Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in order to interact with other employees. 
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, etc. 
• Able to read, create and follow G code programs for both VMCs, HMCs and CNC Lathes. 
• Proficient in the use of cutting tools & measuring equipment. 
• Solid background in CAM techniques 
• Understanding of geometric construction, working drawings, and engineering terms and standards
