Worker Type: Office based with some Hybrid working

About the Role

The successful candidate will gain an insight into the industry by undertaking a Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship whilst carrying out work across the department. 

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate commitment to learning new skills, who can use their initiative in challenging situations, identifying creative ways to solve problems and who can communicate with colleagues and customers alike.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in a team and individually.
  • The ability to demonstrate effective literacy and numeracy.
  • Understanding of and ability to use computers and relevant software.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, through face-to-face, written and telephone contact.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines.

When will my apprenticeship start? 

You will need to be available to commence your apprenticeship in January 2025 

Entry requirements

  • You will need to be able to provide evidence of Maths and English qualifications at grade C/5 or above on request - Please ensure you specify these grades in your CV/ supporting statement 
  • Successful candidates must be committed to attend college either in person or via online learning to obtain the Customer service level 2 apprenticeship
  • You will need to be a minimum of 16 years old by August 31 2024. There is no upper age limit
