Job Description:

• Negotiate resources for the continuous improvement of material movement through various processes of production and establish key performance measures and benchmarks related to the planning / forecasting of supply chain to measure current performance against objectives regularly

• Support in the development of the regional supplier base, ensuring compliance with global purchasing guidelines.

• Assist in negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers, aiming for competitive pricing and favorable terms.

• Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, de‐livery) and support relationship management.

• Contribute to the implementation of purchasing strategies that enhance cost-efficency and mitigate supply risks.

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of purchasing data and KPIs to improve process performance.

• Participate in sourcing processes, including RFQs, bid evaluations, and supplier selection.

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills

• Proactivity and willingness to learn and grow within the purchasing function.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and with suppliers.

Software Knowledge:

• Proficiency in ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Experience:

• Previous experience in indirect purchasing, marketing and travel would be considered a differencial.

Education:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or commercial background (Administration, Economics, Engineering, others)

• Also, acceptable degrees in marketing related backgrounds.

Languages:

• English – Advanced.

• Spanish – Intermediate.

Travel:

• Required, but not very often.
