Senior Procurement Manager - Hybrid (2-3 days on site in Durham)

Alphanumeric is hiring a Senior LOC Procurement Manager to work hybrid (2-3 days on site) for one of the biggest Pharmaceutical companies in the world. 
As a Senior LOC Procurement Manager you will be responsible for driving and leading key initiatives and projects in the US, across multiple categories of spend and cross-functionally, to ensure the delivery of key business objectives and benefits.
Conditions:

• Type of employment: Contract W2 (hybrid minimum 3 days on-site)
  MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON A W2
• Duration: 1 year (potential for extension)
• Work location: Durham, NC
• Monday to Friday 40H/week
• Pay range: 45-58$/hour

• Partner with one or more Business Units (BU’s) or commercial functions (e.g., Oncology, Specialty, Market Access, Commercial Insights & Operations).
• Lead or support the development of the procurement strategy for the BU(s).
• Lead sourcing and negotiation initiatives in line with the strategy.
• Partner with our matrix global category Procurement team colleagues to ensure optimization of our global buying power with local business needs.
• Lead large-scale, cross-BU projects.
• Confidently employ deep Procurement expertise and excellence, tapping into the far-reaching Procurement network to best practices and opportunities.
• Proactively monitor for and mitigate against internal and external risks.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years’ experience leading procurement for a specific supply category
• Project management experience
• Experience generating data insights for performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA
• Pharma / Biotech experience
• Experience with indirect categories
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders
• Executive communications experience
