The Role

// Masabi is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bid Manager to join our Bids Team, working across the business to lead proposals for public transit agencies and operators worldwide, focusing on Europe and the Americas.

As a Bid Manager, you will develop a deep understanding of our products and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders - including Business Development, Product, Engineering, Project Management, and Finance - to write, lead, and review compelling, compliant, and commercially sound responses. Your role will involve managing the full proposal lifecycle, from initial assessment to final submission, ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal governance standards.

  • Analyse and interpret procurement documents to understand key requirements, evaluation criteria, and timelines

  • Define bid strategy, structure, and timelines, and drive execution across contributors

  • Coordinate input from technical, commercial, legal, and operational teams to prepare high-quality proposals and cost models

  • Track tasks and decisions, raising risks and blockers early to avoid delays

  • Lead bid/no-bid assessments with clear opportunity analysis and recommendations

  • Edit and refine responses for consistency, clarity, and compliance

  • Oversee final document production, including narrative content, pricing schedules, and supporting annexes

  • Run governance and review processes, ensuring all required approvals are secured before submission

  • Track and report outcomes, including bid progress, wins, and losses, analysing results to identify improvements and implement changes for future submissions

What You Will Learn

// You’ll gain a unique, end-to-end perspective on how a fast-paced technology company operates - seeing how complex challenges are turned into successful proposals, and how solutions are shaped and delivered to transit agencies through cross-functional teamwork.
