ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support initiatives related to ongoing MHPSS programs and projects for the field offices across World Relief’s network of both affiliates and local offices.
- Support case management, mental health, and MHPSS working groups and collect relevant information and data from these groups.
- Support development of MHPSS Mental Health Manual to be used across the network of World relief offices.
- Support preparing MHPSS capacity building for different local offices across the World Relief network.
- Support researching World Relief’s efforts in evidence based and trauma-informed practices.
- Support research and knowledge gathering/dissemination of various MHPSS topics with relevant communities of practice.
- Support research around developing Medicaid
- Other duties assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Current Student seeking a Master's in Social Work. Some knowledge of case management theory, best practices, and practical program delivery with immigrant or other vulnerable populations.
- Ability to work effectively both as a team member and independently.
- Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills and detail orientation.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Mature team player with strong interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some level of experience in MHPSS Preferred
