Senior Global HR Business partner Tech

Background
We are looking for a Global HRBP to strengthen our awesome global HR CTO team. As Global HRBP you work with the CIO People & Hubs and the respective MT members. People & Hubs is a newly formed domain, so the Global HRBP will help shape and implement the global business strategy and global people agenda through enhancing managerial capabilities and supporting strategic people decisions, such as talent and succession planning, people development and team performance.
Within the HR organization, as Global HRBP you deliver on the People Vision through closely collaborating and working with the HR Communities of Expertise (CoE’s) and People Services.
The Global HRBP position reports to the global HR Lead Tech and is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
The Global HRBP works closely with the CIO People & Hubs and the management team in shaping and implementing global business strategy and the global people agenda. He or she is responsible for building a strong relationship with the strategic business clients, bringing indepth specialist knowledge in multiple HR areas of expertise. Equally, the HRBP has strong business acumen and affinity with Tech.
Areas where you make impact:
- Shape the Global People and Business Agenda - partner with the CIO and the management team to ensure that the right core people capabilities are available to allow for current and future business success.
- Partner with Tech leaders to design the Global Business and People Strategy and build Global Strategic Workforce plans to support execution.
- Contribute to the definition of an overall global organization structure
- Build a Performance Culture - coach business leaders and their management teams in using performance and talent management solutions to drive individual and team performance.
- Promote and apply bank wide People solutions that meet global business needs - bring and apply bank wide people solutions, developed by the CoE, to the specific global business context.
- Collaborate to successfully convey the HR service delivery model - bring feedback on the business needs and context to the CoE and People Services to improve the people solutions.
- Leading and support annual people processes; performance review, succession planning, talent review, action planning based on company surveys (OHI/WQ/Pulse).
- Develop the leadership of the future leaders using the global talent programs.
- Act as an ambassador of the diversity & inclusion-strategy.
- Act as a change agent and represent the voice of people during business transformations.
- Act as Global SPOC for Talent Management, Reward, Performance Management and Target Setting.
- Act as Global SPOC for Must Win Engineering Culture (in close collaboration with Reliability & Engineering) across all Tech domains
Requirements
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience with working in an international setting, and successfully driving impact globally across different business lines and geographies
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal strategic clients
- A strong strategic focus and an ability to translate the people vision into increased business performance.
- Affinity with numbers and data and a good understanding on how data analysis and reporting support building the people agenda.
- Demonstrated consultation skills to help the business in understanding their people needs and propose the right global solution to fit that need.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a clear demonstration of influencing business leaders
- Practical experience of implementing significant change initiatives successfully.
- Sensitivity to local/regional employment legislation and regulations.
- Deep understanding of the HR service delivery model (Ulrich model) and how collaboration across functions is key in delivering value to the business.
- Proven expertise in handling Reward related people topics
You are a strong communicator at all levels of the organization (excellent written and verbal English language skills and story-telling abilities). You are proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). You hold a master’s degree, preferably in HR or Business.
