LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, and goal-driven, individual to join the team as a Part-Time Donor Scheduling Representative in Gainesville, FL. This position is responsible for calling and scheduling donors as well as converting donors to automated technology (apheresis) when appropriate.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Call donors to schedule donation appointments
- Answer donor questions and address donor concerns
- Inform donors about blood drives in the area and center promotions
- Assist in achieving departmental collection goals
Qualifications
- Must be comfortable using a computer and phone
- Ability to organize and manage time effectively
- Ability to read and follow instructions, as well as organize and record data
- Interact professionally with all customers, both internal and external
- Ability to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends
- Ability understanding people well and use that understanding effectively in motivating and persuading others
- High school diploma or GED preferred

LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. We are committed to meeting the blood supply needs of hospitals and their patients by providing the highest quality blood components and services. With more than 45 donor centers, 55 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family is in need.
