Job Description

Being a Project Manager at Devoteam is all about collaboration both with your colleagues and with the clients. You will be tasked with planning, leading, organising and motivating project team members to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects. The Project Manager may be responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility projects using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple business divisions. This is internal role (no contractor role).

The suitable candidate may play a number of different roles in actual practice:

Managing complex projects of Devoteam Alps

80% of time

• Being a key part of the bidding team (usually as a bid manager) to understand the context of upcoming projects.
• Management of Project scope - during project preparation, and during the project
• Project management with customer (One big and demanding project plus several smaller projects)
• Facilitating scrum ceremonies for the project team if the team is working in agile way
• Reporting about project for Devoteam and for customer, including project financials
• Managing project financials, including preparation of invoicing
• Coaching of team members, including cooperation with their mentors

Learning

5% of time

• Learning of project management and agile methods
• Learning technology related to project scope

Account management

5% of time

• Basic day-to-day account management and stakeholder management with customer, ensuring that customer happiness is managed on daily bases and we are aware of future business opportunities
• Cooperation with Account manager for the Customer

Project manager´s community

5% of time

• Contribution to project management methodology of Devoteam
• Sharing with other project managers in Devoteam 
• Mentoring of junior project managers
• Participate in an external project management community

Marketing

5% of time

• Reference materials and reference calls about past projects

Qualifications

You will be a great fit for this role if you have…

• University Degree
• 3+ experience in Project management 
• Knowledge of Software development life cycle
• Project/Agile certification (Prince 2 Foundation, Scrum Master)
• Fluency in English
• A structured approach, problem-solving, flexible and self-directed with analytical skills
• Excellent communication and change management skills
• Ability to lead global, multicultural, multifunctional teams
• Good general consulting skills - soft skills, structured thinking, effective report writing and presentations and stakeholder engagement

• IT project management experience with a proven track record of leading technical IT infrastructure international projects
• Project Management certification (PMP, ITIL or similar)
