Analog IC Physical Design

Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Responsible for performing advanced RF analog circuit design in low-lithography CMOS and overseeing layout of critical blocks. Complete complex designs and high frequency circuits, produce RF and analog block designs, and apply RF/Analog IC designs with deep sub-micron. Collaborate with systems team to determine block specifications and architecture, characterize and debug IC and determine necessary ATE testing. Optimizes final application algorithms and codes to maximize memory utilizations and/or processing capability.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering (with related variants such as VLSI or Physics), foreign equivalent or related field.
Two (2) years of experience in the job offered, IC Layout Designer, Mask Layout Designer, Mobile App Analyst, Intern or similar occupations.
Required skills:
Position requires experience in:
- Cadence Virtuoso XL;
- Verification tools: Calibre, Assura (DRC, LVS, ERC); and
- TSMC process technologies.
