Job Description Summary
Within the Science & Technology Organization (STO), the SVP, Digital Health Services Engineering is responsible for leading the engineering & technology organization in developing world class software solutions which provide capabilities that accelerate application development for application developers and customers (IT). The mission includes building the kernel, infrastructure, data fabric, Internet of Things (IOT) capabilities as common software & infrastructure components ( SDKs) enabling production-quality, cloud-grade software in the HealthTech domain.Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities
•Differentiate GEHC, by building reusable foundational capabilities via SDKs for healthcare specific use cases that are cloud first & tie back to GEHC backend systems and operations •Accelerate software release velocity & improve quality & remove undifferentiated heavy lifting of s/w development via Builder Tools•Drive transition of investments made in individual product lines and custom on-prem solutions. •Create an API led paradigm where developers will be able to add their applications to the GEHC product catalogues, track order and billing, and manage entitlements for multiple business models including subscription, usage, and licensing. •Manage a team responsible for software lifecycle across GEHC.•Actively present leadership updates to GEHC sponsors and customers.•Work with others to define future technology platforms and architecture for products and services.•Quickly learn, internalize and develop a strong understanding of key priorities and the clients.•Develop comprehensive and tactical solutions to address immediate needs.•Provide day to day work direction for team members engaged in projects and delivery.•Actively pursue new methods and practices to increase productivity.•Operate as an engaged leader who serves as a subject matter and technical expert for assigned programs and development initiatives.•Work with system leaders and functional teams to ensure products and services adhere to compliance and controllership standards within GEHC..•Represent GEHC when required in major customer and external business discussions, including portfolio acquisition and sales, new and/or extended business opportunities, business integrations etc.•Drive solution architecture and systems thinking. Define tools and technology that are best suited to meet customer needs based on defined priorities, specified timeline and available resources. Translate customer requirements into design that can be implemented by technical teams.•Provides expertise in Design, Architecture, Development, Continuous Integration and Delivery.•Expert in providing oversight, mentoring team members and leading large development efforts. Experienced in effectively delegating work.•Defines and owns coding and design standards, ensures secure development practices, establishes expectations around performance, drives internationalization, and manages CI/CD pipelines catering to both cloud and on-premise deployments.•Demonstrates expert level skills in collaboration with different stakeholders, influences decisions, ability to take strategic view.Your Experience
•Bachelors' degree in Engineering/Science within an appropriate discipline.•15+ years progressive experience as an engineer or scientist within the appropriate field of study.•10+ years experience within a software development environment, managing large global teams.•Proven track record to drive global teams to deliver on business and program goals.•Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.... must be responsive and willing to take ownership of issues and drive solutions. •Proven communication, coaching and interpersonal skills,Apply for this role
