Job Overview

 

This position is reporting into Senior Director Global Planning & Delivery and Regional IT Applications. The role is to support the full implementation life cycle for global ITAP projects, especially for SAP but not limited to that supporting the Americas.

 

Purpose and objective for the position are to develop and execute end-to-end project management activities, according to the Getinge ITAP methodology. Define project scope with key stakeholders and effectively manage milestones and dependencies. Support the management of financial and operational commitments. Monitor delivery performance and quality, using metrics and status reporting. Communicates and collaborates with all partners of the project, internal and external, as well as on a global level.

 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

 

• Understand the business requirements, business processes and solution landscape
• Be a trusted adviser for IT/Business, by leading project works based on the defined scope
• Create detail project plans and execute them
• Understand Getinge´s project methodology and customer centric services, adopt them to the project
• Manage the relationship with business and be the primary “face" to the business throughout the implementation process
• Support scoping workshops and emphasize business readiness activities
• Validate effort estimates and high-level implementation timelines
• Work closely with business project manager and module leads to track and update project plan, complete weekly status report, budget/burn rates, issue tracker and risk register
• Provide customer guidance and support on Communications, Change Management, Training Strategy and Testing Strategy
• Ensure issue resolution in timely manner. Escalate on customer or IT side as necessary
• Initiate or facilitate meetings according to Getinge´s meeting matrix
• Coordinate with module leads and provide best/leading practices and guidance on cross module process and data integration
• After Go Live, complete Lessons Learnt session with customer and follow up with relevant teams on any outstanding issues

 

Minimum Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Communications or Business Administration.
• A minimum of 4 years’ work experience in Information technology.
• A minimum 4 years’ experience in SAP Technology/ Basis, Application implementation and/or operation experience
• Certification in project management/PMP or similar
• CPA, CMA, MBA, MA is a plus

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

• Understanding of business processes and the ability to learn quickly about them
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, process functions and master data management
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced business environment
• Ability to explorer fast solutions in pressures situations
• Ability to multitask and manage deliverables for change request and project at the same time
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective stakeholder management abilities
• Acts as a coach for new colleagues, Mentor new consultants
• ERP PM implementation experiences are a must
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

 

 

The base salary for this position is a minimum of $98,000 and a maximum of $115,000   plus 10% annual bonus
