Nursing Administration Summer Internship

Jefferson Healthcare (www.jeffersonhealthcare.org) is currently looking for a Nursing Administration Summer Intern. This is a paid Summer Internship that requires a minimum of 180 hours. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in healthcare administration, develop professional skills, and learn about the operational aspects of nursing management.

This is a temporary, non-exempt position, and will remain open until filled.

The compensation for this internship is $16.28/Hour. This compensation will include a 15% increase in lieu of benefits.

In this role, you will:

• Assist the Nursing Administration team with daily operations, including administrative tasks.
• Help with data collection, analysis, and reporting to support education management software.
• Shadow nursing administrators to gain insights into leadership roles and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to understand the workflow and assist with various administrative tasks.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 Years Old
• Current Enrollment or Plan to enroll is an accredited nursing program required
• Previous job shadowing experience preferred
