Role Overview:

Job Title: Data Ops Analysis Senior Specialist
Location: Rome
Smartworking: Possible for this position 

Responsibilities:

• Carry out and coordinate the activities and processes required to manage and deliver services at agreed levels to business users, customers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve business satisfaction through the effective and efficient delivery and support of agreed IT services.
• Day-to-day support and maintenance of all IT services, restore service quickly in the event of incidents, and investigate the root cause of preventable incidents/problems.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in system operations. Experience in team and projects managing.
• Knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting on Linux RedHat and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
• Containerized services administration.
• Bash Scripting Programming
• WebApache Server, IIS
• Jboss and Oracle Weblogic application servers
• Main protocols and network services
• Good knowledge of ElasticSearch/OpenSearch

 

 

The following knowledge will be an advantage:

• Kubernetes administration experience on critical services
• Programming languages: python, bash, ansible
   

Professional Experience/Seniority:

• A profile with experience in IT and in the IT processes (Monitoring, Incident, Change, Problem management) is considered preferable.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or Technical certificate 

Soft Skills:

• Excellent propensity and ability in problem solving
• Propensity for teamwork and stress management
• Availability to work on call for accidents and night-time maintenance interventions
• Flexibility, ability to quickly adapt to change, availability.
• Enthusiasm, spirit of initiative, determination, reliability, curiosity for technology
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
