ASSISTANT FOOTBALL COACH
 

Bridgewater College, a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III, is seeking applications for an Assistant Football Coach - Offensive Coordinator.  This is a full-time position, reporting to the Head Football Coach. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:    

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the head coach in all facets of a Division III football program.
  • Recruiting prospective student-athletes who fit the mission and culture of the program and the College.
  • Organizing & conducting on-field coaching during practices and games.
  • Developing detailed scouting reports, statistics, and video analysis breakdowns.
  • Manage and provide feedback and evaluation to Offensive players and coaches.
  • Assist with program marketing and branding on a multitude of platforms, including social media
  • Providing mentoring and support for the student-athletes, particularly in regard to academics and player development.
  • Complying with all NCAA, conference and college policies and regulations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Candidates should have a strong Offensive background in High School or College level with proven football coaching experience, including a track record of success as an Offensive coordinator.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) applications is required.
  • Competency with HUDL or other editing software, with a willingness to learn PQD. 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the college’s auto insurance carrier

 

Pay is competitive, and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.
