Supervisor, Support Services Staffing

The Supervisor of Support Services Staffing will be responsible for overseeing the hiring, orientation, ongoing training, and supervision of all Support Services staff at our 24/7 Connection Centers. This includes overseeing schedules and day-to-day operations of assigned permanent supportive housing and Reentry housing sites.  Connection Centers offer 24/7 staffing to ensure full time access to sites and services is made available to participants. The Supervisor is expected to provide trauma-informed coaching whenever possible, especially during and in response to active participant crises.

Because each site is unique, the role of the Supervisor is to cultivate and communicate a clear understanding of both broader goals and expectations of the organization alongside site specific requirements and norms.  Across all sites, the Supervisor is expected to foster a positive culture and facilitate high quality customer service with a compassionate approach.

A successful candidate will have experience triaging concerns under pressure and an understanding of community resources. They will partner with RS EDEN staff across the organization, and the larger community to promote program goals, activities, and events.  When on call, they will provide immediate crisis response and coordinated follow-up.

Support Specialist services staff are located onsite at Emanuel Apartments, Central Avenue Apartments, Amber Apartments, Reentry West, and Reentry Metro.

Pay ranges from $56,000-$62,000 annually

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a role model for staff and participants by conducting service interactions with an elevated level of professionalism and demonstrated boundaries
• Collaborate with team members and organizational partners, including case management, property management, and clinical professionals.
• Provide direct regular supervision to Connection Center staff Teams.
• Coordinate, facilitate and track all required front desk staff training, time off such as vacations and holidays and oversee shift scheduling, including monitoring and tracking overtime.
• Represent RS EDEN’s Support Services program area to the community at large via positive relationships with area residents, businesses, neighbors, donors, and other professionals interested in RS EDEN programs
• Ensure Connection Centers are consistently staffed, anticipating scheduling needs and managing gaps in staffing whenever necessary.
• Build an effective staffing on call and back up structure to ensure staffing and service stability
• Offer flexibility, including nights and weekends, to address staff and site issues that arise.
• Safeguard personally identifiable health information (PHI) in accordance with duties and current agency HIPAA notification statement and standards.
• Coordinate interviewing, hiring, ongoing performance monitoring including Performance Reviews of Support Specialist staff.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds with multiple individual and systemic barriers to success.
• Leadership skills and the capability of working alone with little supervision.

Preferred:

• 2 years of Management and Scheduling experience preferred.
• Experience and/or education in the field of Human Services for at least 2 year is preferred.
