Your Mission

• Extend our existing web application based on React, PHP, Symfony, and CouchDB with new user workflows based on input from our Product team
• Discover solutions for user challenges together with our Product team
• Continuously enhance the technical foundation of the web application, for example, updating for new PHP, Framework, and library versions
• Closely collaborate with your colleagues to learn and improve together

What you need to succeed

• Thorough knowledge of PHP and Symfony
• Experience with CouchDB is a big plus but certainly not required, general experience with NoSQL databases is a plus, but not required
• Experience with deploying, monitoring, and generally operating a PHP production application
• Experience in testing PHP code: domain logic with unit tests, and the most critical user paths with integration tests
• Knowledge of React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and CSS is a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation, especially with ansible, is a plus, but not required
