Position Purpose:
Provides daily professional administrative, clerical, and project coordination support. Maintains area files, correspondence, reports, and other documentation. Coordinates, completes, and delivers required reporting. Tasks are varied and usually require area specific knowledge to complete work.
What You’ll Do:
Types, edits, formats, reviews, and updates forms, correspondence and reports.
Maintains area files and binders. Maintains area organizational charts, job descriptions, contact and mailing lists, desk procedures, and interoffice tracking logs. Maintains area specific reports or presentations.
Provides general clerical duties and administrative support including ordering supplies, coordinating meeting functions, arranging travel, maintaining calendars, and phone coverage for upper management.
Special projects as assigned.
Work Environment: Typical office environment. Work may require transporting or moving materials.
To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need:
Required Education:
Associate's degree
Degree Equivalency:
Two years of job-related work experience OR
A combination of education and experience equal to 2 years
Required Work Experience:
5 years administrative support experience.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal/written communication skills (grammar, letter writing and phone skills).
Organizational skills.
Customer service skills.
Good judgment.
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to multi-task.
Required Software and Tools:
Microsoft Office.
We Prefer that You Have:
Experience supporting an SDO inside of an IT organization.
Experience in Canva, MS PowerPoint, and planner.
3 years of industry-specific work experience
Knowledge of business area goals and objectives. Analytical or critical thinking skills. Ability to use complex mathematical calculations. Ability to persuade, negotiate or influence.
Knowledge of Access or other database software.
