Job Description:

Fidelity Private Shares (FPS) is seeking a Director of Product to define, build and commercialize private market liquidity solutions for the FPS business. Fidelity Private Shares is a trusted partner to high-growth private companies and supports the innovation economy through a market-leading equity administration platform. This role combines strategic product thinking with hands-on product developmentensuring the products we build not only address key market and stakeholder needs but also achieve strong adoption and commercial success. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of private market structures, liquidity dynamics and financial technology platforms and can translate complex market opportunities into elegant product solutions.  

Primary responsibilities in this role will require you to: 

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis and customer insights to help develop private market liquidity-related product strategies in support of FPSgoals and objectives. 

  • Partner cross-functionally and with senior leadership to align product initiatives with FPS’ growth objectives and market trends. 

  • Develop prototypes and help build liquidity-related features and functionality for the FPS platform. 

  • Help develop and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs and business goals, as well as adapting them to evolving regulatory requirements and considerations. 

  • Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure alignment on product development timelines and deliverables and to deliver seamless digital experiences. 

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making. 

  • Monitor product performance and user feedback based on data-driven insights to inform future product iterations and enhancements. 

  • Provide product support and education to external customers and customer-facing teams as part of go-to-market efforts. 

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-222,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
