FULFILLMENT LEAD

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Fulfillment Lead, you will work under the direction of the Fulfillment Manager to assist with overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping processes, and team supervision. Your role will ensure the efficient and accurate fulfillment of orders while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and have a strong background in inventory control, shipping logistics, and warehouse management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the shipping process, including order picking, packing, and dispatching.
• Manage receiving processes, ensuring that incoming shipments are inspected and logged accurately.
• Troubleshoot fulfillment problems and report findings to appropriate program manager.
• Assist in the oversight of fulfillment work, specifically material movement, and temporary employees.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to optimize delivery times and reduce costs.
• Lead warehouse staff, including training, and scheduling under the direction of the manager.
• Address and resolve fulfillment issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Communicate with customers and other departments to provide updates and resolve concerns.
• Identify and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure that fulfillment practices comply with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Commit to personal growth and participate in leadership development activities through the direction of manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities but may act as a point of contact for staff in the fulfillment department related to specific jobs and delegated projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and shipping logistics.
• 2+ years’ experience in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages, preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
• Requires prolonged walking throughout the plant. 
• Must have the ability to move and lift materials and products weighing up to 80 lb
