Team Lead

The Team Lead will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Shipping department.  Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.

Your Tasks

• Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material
• Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
• Arrange appropriate transportation of products
• Assist customers with shipping inquiries
• Ensuring accuracy of all shipping documents
• Maintaining safety and cleanliness standards in the warehouse
• Logs information in SAP system
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Leads, trains and monitors the work of other shipping associates

• Shift: 2nd Shift - Weekends and Overtime required

Your Profile

• Demonstrated Shipping experience in a fast paced distribution center environment
• Proven leadership experience
• Superior problem solving, decision making, planning and organizational skills
• SAP experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Safety knowledge
• Forklift certified a plus
• Ability to commute to: Ontario, CA
