Patient Financial Svc Asst

Under the direction of the Director of Patient Financial Services, the Computer Operator will be responsible for the accurate and timely submission of payer claims and retrieval of payer remittances. The Operator is responsible for compiling and forwarding programmed reports/files to internal and external customers, ensuring the highest quality output. The Operator will support other related functions in the Patient Financial Service area, which includes multiple billing software.

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum: High School degree or equivalent education

Preferred: AAS degree

License/Certifications:

None

Experience:

Minimum: One year of previous office experience. Computer literacy required.

Preferred: Understanding of basic computer concepts (files, printing, networks, etc).

Other:

Minimum: Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner. Computer literacy required with Microsoft Office products including word and excel.
