NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to work 100% onsite in Rochester, NY OR Orange, CT OR Portland, OR with our global client. 

Responsibilities:

Coordination of the different IT infrastructure projects:

• Gather requirements from business
• Create technical specifications document with the help of the technical team
• Define approach with the help of the technical team
• Create project plan
• Create procurement plan
• Coordinate different implementation teams/vendors
• Risk management
• Control project execution and generate progress reports
• Provide solutions to problems with the help of the technical team
• Run follow up meetings with upper management.

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of Kanban methodology, JIRA platform, & MS Project
• Experience of 10 years as PM and 5 years minimum in IT infrastructure and/or workplace projects:
  • Cloud (Particularly important for Rochester)
  • Distributed Systems
  • End user platforms
  • Networking and Comms
  • Smart Operations
• Ability to understand users’ requirements, concerns and manage interaction between different parties.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good documenting skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude. 

Preferred:

• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI PMO).
