We support customers throughout the Department of Defense and U.S. Government in building innovative new tools to deliver unique world-class data exploitation capabilities.

SciTec is seeking a Project Cost Analyst for an agile software development program.

Responsibilities

  • Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
  • Assist with/prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles and variance analysis
  • Execute Earned Value Management (EVM) within an Agile Framework
  • Assist with/prepare schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
  • Assist with/prepare Estimates at Complete (EACs)
  • Set up, prepare and follow up with all required financial reports
  • Effectively communicate with leadership and customers regarding financial status, metrics and deliverables
  • Assist with/prepare and update ETC, Baselines, Task Description and Basis of Estimate (TD/BOE), and establish Performance Measurement reporting/customer reporting requirements
  • Adhere to policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 3 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control
  • Earned Value Proficiency including the Earned Value Guidelines
  • Deltek Cobra Subject Matter Expert
  • CSDR experience
  • Agile EVMS knowledge
  • Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR
  • Knowledge of government program budgeting and forecasting

Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred:

  • Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) ground processing domain knowledge
  • Active DoD Final SECRET clearance or higher

The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $120,000. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
