ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Applies complex mathematical and statistical concepts and theories to analyze and collect data from disparate sources and construct solutions to enterprise problems.
2. Performs complex statistical analysis on enterprise data to validate and quantify trends or patterns identified by business analysts.
3. Constructs and applies statistical models to support data analysis, revenue forecasting, and process optimization functions; verifies model effectiveness based on actual results.
4. Works with multiple types of enterprise data on analysis and modeling of financial, marketing, or pricing data. Reviews marketing proformas and post-formas to identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and process improvements; partners with managers and directors to develop new strategies for targeted offers and updates to segmentation.
5. Interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis to FP&A management and business managers.
6. Trains and mentors Analysts, and takes lead role on projects as assigned by department management. Acts as point of contact for all functions enterprise-wide for respective analysis needs.
7. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field required.
Minimum four (4) years of experience working in data analytics required.
Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is required.
Experience working with relational databases and enterprise reporting tools is required.
Experience performing data extraction and analysis using coding languages such as SAS, R, Python, and/or SQL is required.
Must possess extensive experience in maintaining the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality. The role involves handling sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, customer contact details, financial data, and organizational financial records.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.

Primary work environment is in a climate-controlled office setting.
Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
Incumbents may be required to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Strength sufficient to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Sedentary work: involves sitting most of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
