Senior MFG Associate

Job DescriptionWe have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Associate to join our team. The primary focus of the role will be to provide material movement and logistical support to internal and external customers in support of GMP manufacturing operations.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

• Demonstrate and lead by example expertise and technical leadership in safety, operations, and cGMP compliance. Develop and maintain a strong quality culture within the team and production area.
• Lead Operations team in the absence of the manager/supervisor.
• Conduct team meetings and facilitate multi-department discussions with PD, MSAT and Process Engineering.
• Assure executed batch records are reviewed and resolved before QA receives the records for review.
• Oversee training of new employees (SOP’s, Equipment operation & troubleshooting, MBR’s), act as Qualified OJT trainer, and track training requirements for team members ensuring appropriate training is completed prior to process execution.
• Initiate and investigate deviations. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), participates in DMAIC and Leads continuous Improvement Teams (such as 5S, Gemba, etc.) to support the deviation process and continuous improvement.
• Order, receive and distribute supplies into production area as needed.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment problems and respond to alarms. Provide information for unplanned events, including entering data into event management software (SAP).
• Initiate new documents for procedures (SOP), forms and MBR’s; makes  revisions to existing documents.
• Serve as subject matter expert operating production equipment and downstream operations such as buffer preparation; weigh, dispense and titration, single use mixers and filter integrity testing, homogenizer, BSC, analytical equipment (pH, conductivity and scales).

• 2+ Years of industry experience and Bachelors OR 3+ Years of industry experience and High School Diploma or GED
