Position Summary

Assists in the development, implementation, and administration of the activities of any work team of the Compliance Department. Participates in and completes projects of low complexity and may assist on projects of moderate complexity. 

  • The successful candidate will work from the Home Office, Erie PA
  • This position is for Insurance Regulatory - Regulatory Change Management; This position may assist other Regulatory Compliance Functions. 
     

May specialize in one or more of the following areas:

Insurance Regulatory – Regulatory Change Management

Communicates, monitors, and tracks laws, regulations, and insurance department guidelines and assists in determining company impact. Assists with internal investigations involving Agents. Communicates, tracks and monitors completion of required Anti-Money Laundering Agent training. Leads the coordination of weather moratoriums. 

Insurance Regulatory – Market Conduct

Leads and coordinates responses to requests for information from insurance departments and regulatory agencies; reviews for accuracy and completeness; prepares related communications; and maintains documentation. Provides guidance on and monitors corrective action plans. Develops and maintains relationships with state insurance departments and regulatory agencies. Performs ad hoc regulatory research.

Records Management

Assists with monitoring compliance with records retention policies and procedures, including records retention schedule adherence. Assists with the disposition of scheduled records and recommends appropriate storage and disposition for inactive paper and electronic records. Assists with legal preservation holds and related communications and conducting periodic records inventories.

Corporate Compliance

Assists with the development of the annual compliance training schedule. Leads development of compliance training courses, in conjunction with corporate learning and development team.
