Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced retired electrician to join our team in a hybrid role. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive electrical knowledge to support our commercial restaurant equipment and facility management services. This role requires a mix of remote consultation, troubleshooting, and on-site service, maintenance and repair.

This role requires a mix of remote consultation, troubleshooting, and on-site service, maintenance and repair.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Remote Consultation and Support:
- Provide remote troubleshooting support to clients and field service technicians via phone, email, or video calls.
- Assist clients in diagnosing electrical issues related to commercial kitchen equipment and facilities.
- Guide on-site technicians through complex repair procedures.
- Assist with creating and updating service documentation, maintenance logs, and reports.
- Coordinate with the dispatching team to plan onsite visits and manage service requests.
- Utilize digital tools to track service requests, inventory, and equipment status.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial restaurant settings.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with health and safety regulations.
- Perform installations, replacements, and upgrades of electrical fixtures and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks as per the schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on the condition of electrical systems and recommend necessary actions.
- Keep track of parts inventory and order supplies, ensuring timely procurement and delivery.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients on basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns effectively.
Requirements
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Retired Electrician with a remarkable track record of over 25 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems in commercial settings.
- Experience working with commercial kitchen equipment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, panels, and controls.
- Ability to identify faults in wiring, equipment, and circuit boards.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including inspections and component replacements.
- Proficiency in installing electrical components such as outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for remote consultation and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Stable internet connection.
- Flexible working hours to accommodate customer needs and training schedules.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in varying environmental conditions, including hot and noisy environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
- Willingness to travel to various restaurant locations as needed.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to accommodate client needs.
