Produces high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology, procedural protocol and the American College of Radiology. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
Graduate of accredited Radiography program.
Additional Qualifications
Associates degree and one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
License or Certification
License in Radiography (R) within appropriate State; American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in Radiography; American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in Computed Technology (CT) within 18 months of start date; Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of start date.
