We are currently seeking a Solution Architect - Data Governance(Technical), MDM to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

We are seeking an accomplished Data Governance Leader with deep expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) to architect, implement, and drive enterprise-wide data governance and MDM strategies. This senior role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions that ensure high-quality, trusted data across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leading technical MDM implementations, developing robust governance frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data management solutions. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership position, central to our data-driven transformation.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and document end-to-end MDM and data governance solutions that support scalability, security, and evolving business objectives.
  • Lead the technical implementation, configuration, and optimization of enterprise MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, SAP MDG, Oracle, IBM, Reltio, or Stibo), including the design of robust master data models.
  • Develop, enforce, and continuously improve data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective MDM and governance solutions and facilitate data stewardship activities.
  • Oversee data integration, profiling, cleansing, enrichment, metadata management, and ongoing data quality improvements across enterprise systems.
  • Monitor and report on master data health, proactively resolve data quality issues, and drive continuous process and technology enhancements.
  • Support data migration initiatives, onboarding of new data domains, and system upgrades to ensure seamless transitions and data integrity.
  • Advise and mentor internal teams on best practices in MDM and data governance, fostering continuous improvement and broader technology adoption.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, and Data Architecture.
  • 5+ years as a solution architect designing and implementing large-scale enterprise MDM and data governance solutions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures (Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric).
  • Ability to travel 25%

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in MDM or data governance (e.g., Informatica, SAP, Collibra, IBM).
  • Industry experience in FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Financial Services, with understanding of sector-specific data and compliance needs.
  • Experience architecting and deploying MDM and governance solutions on cloud-native platforms, including serverless and hybrid cloud integration.
  • Proficiency with data quality and metadata management tools (e.g., Informatica Data Quality, Talend Data Quality, Alation, Collibra, IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog).
  • Background in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
  • Experience driving organizational change, promoting governance adoption, and delivering training to business users and data stewards.
  • Strong vendor management experience, including product evaluations, RFPs, and negotiations.
  • Active participation in professional data management communities, conferences, or publications.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $141,400.00 - $201,100.00 This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
