Forklift Driver

Responsibilities related to and associated with Forklift driver position

 Driver Responsibilities

1.      Empty all Bins daily2.      Empty water tumblers one time per week (Mondays) or as needed3.      Red Oil pump cells, as needed4.      Empty recycle oil as needed5.      Empty mop stations daily: (2 stations)6.      Pick up broken pallet pieces inside the plant, as needed

Scrubbing 

1.      Paint and OP’s area, done on the first of each month2.      Breakroom two times per week (Monday and Friday)3.      Engineering Lab one time per week or as requested

Dust Mopping

1.      The entire plant, daily

Safety

1.      When driving or utilizing forklift blowing the horn at all intersections, crossings and as needed to provide a safe environment2.      Operate forklift and scrubber in the assigned and confined areas3.      No phone use inside the plant4.      No phone use while operating any equipment, machinery, forklift or scrubber5.      While operating equipment, machinery, forklift or scrubbera.      No hoody or head gearb.      No headphonesc.       No Phone usaged.      Minimize any distraction that will decease awareness or cause a safety issue6.      Be aware of surroundings at all times, employees in the vicinity of you operating equipment, machinery, forklift or scrubber.7.      Wearing the required PPE.

Working scheduled times and assigned hours

1.      Clocking in and out at the assigned times2.      Seeking approval from onsite supervisor/manager if employee needs to be absent, arriving late, or having to leave early

Performing other tasks assigned or delegated by the on-site supervisor, manager or ServiceMaster administration.

  Compensation: $12.00 per hour
