Wolt Market delivers groceries to our users within 30 minutes. Last year we took a leap forward with a dedicated product offering for Wolt Market. We successfully built from scratch several teams of talented Engineers, Product Leads and Designers building internal tooling within the areas like warehousing, assortment, catalog and pricing. </p><p>Currently we are looking for a <strong>Senior Kotlin Backend Engineer</strong> to join our <strong>Catalog and Purchasing teams </strong>🚀</p><p>The<strong> Wolt Market Catalog Team </strong>is building a world-class product information management system which is a foundational system to all our Wolt Market domains and is directly impacting our customer experience.</p><p>The<strong> Wolt Market Purchasing </strong>team is building a fully automated order management system. Our solution will offer end-to-end support for the entire order-to-pay process, starting from accurately predicting customer demand to matching invoices and approving payments. Our ultimate goal is to eliminate manual processes, streamline operations, enhance accuracy and efficiency, and free up valuable time for our valued users.</p><p><strong>Kotlin for us a success story</strong>; we started using it in our Fintech team but now it has spread to multiple teams across product development for building our microservices.</p><p>We’re obsessed with high ownership teams at Wolt, which means you’ll get to work in a culture of freedom and accountability. Our teams are in charge of their own roadmaps, how they build services and products, and how they solve challenges from new features to core scalability of their solutions.</p><p>At Wolt you'll always play an integral part in defining team's ways of working, participate in architecture, CI/CD discussion meetings and decide on tools and best practices.</p><p>The teams collaborate closely with our Retail, DaaS, and Merchant (integrations) teams, share knowledge, best practices and infrastructure on AWS.</p><p><strong>📍</strong>This role can be based in one of our tech hubs in <strong>Helsinki</strong>, <strong>Berlin</strong> or <strong>Stockholm</strong>, or you can work remotely anywhere in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and Estonia.
