CenterWell Primary Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is looking for a Primary Care Physician Lead for our Orlando market. You will have the opportunity take a hands-on approach, addressing patient needs inside the exam room and look beyond to understand how social determinants of health are affecting health outcomes. As a Primary Care Physician lead, you will report to our Chief Medical Officer for the Orlando FL market and work closely with other leaders and providers. This role will be onsite.

The Physician Lead focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Keeps a medical history and medical records. Refers the patient to specialists as needed. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree
• Eight or more years of technical experience
• Two or more years of project leadership, or leadership experience
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• Prefer Internal Medicine specialty
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• Must be willing to participate in limited on call coverage by phone

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$246,100 - $344,200 per year

 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
