Position Overview:

Shields Health Solutions is looking to hire a Manager of Business Insight, reporting to the Vice President of Analytics, to lead the development of a new analytics suite and lay the foundation for providing actionable, tailored insights to stakeholders. The Manager will collaborate directly with senior Technology, Strategy, and Operations leaders to set the vision for the product, iterate on development, refine its user experience, support developing and execute go-to-market strategy and partner with stakeholders to identify insight in the data. Initially a player-coach, the Manager will lead ETL development of the data warehouse supporting analytics reporting, collaborating with the UX/UI team to develop front end visuals, partnering with business stakeholders to draft requirements and to uncover insight in the data, while training and supporting the growing team.

The ideal candidate will possess expert-level technical and analytical skills, experience in product go-to-market execution, and is an excellent communicator with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will lead the Business Insights team to becoming a high-impact team.

Representative Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Establish Business Insights team
• Leverage SQL to develop tables in data warehouse to support reporting
• Collaborate with UX/UI team to develop front-end visuals and reporting
• Partner with Strategy and Operations team to draft requirements and identify trends in data
• Proactively analyze data to uncover insight, craft tailored message to stakeholders
• Hire and mentor new team members
• Develop scalable processes & validation processes to ensure accurate and reliable data
• Support team & organizational goals as needed
• Protect organization by keeping information confidential & HIPAA-compliant
• Expand knowledge of Shields and specialty pharmacy by participating in the educational opportunities we offer and reading professional publications

Skills and Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in analytics consulting or analytics developer role in a high-growth, client-facing environment
• 2+ years of management experience with demonstrated leadership and ability to influence stakeholders through building trust and demonstrating value
• Expertise in identifying insight in large datasets and communicating tailored insight and technical processes to non-technical, executive, and stakeholder audiences
• Experience supporting go-to-market strategy creation and execution
