Job Description
Mission Technologies (MT), a division of HII, is seeking to hire a Junior Pulse Powered Systems Engineer to support operations at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). This includes performing on-site experiments on pulse powered generators, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and experimental data analysis.
This full-time position is on-site at NRL on the Maryland side of the Potomac near the southern-most part of Washington DC.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, software systems, and networks of pulse powered system generators.
Minimum Qualifications
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field.
- Possess experience in fielding and carrying out experiments on pulse powered generators, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and in carrying out analysis of the data.
- Ability to coordinate with technicians in operation and maintenance of pulse powered systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US level Secret clearance.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in controls and coding.
- Possess experience in advanced electronic circuit analysis, transmission line code techniques, electric and magnetic field modeling.
- Demonstrated experience in calibration of current and voltage probes, engineering quality system design of pulsed power electrical and mechanical systems.
- Able to demonstrate pulsed power diagnostic techniques, data collection techniques, and interfacing data collection devices with
