We are Hiring! AtkinsRéalis seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Surveying and Geodesy Group as a Senior Surveyor, located in Orlando, Florida.

Under direction, applies full competency in conventional land surveying work and broad knowledge of precedents in land surveying assignments. Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of survey assignments in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Coordinate survey work with survey managers, technicians, drafters and with other disciplines as required.
• Preparation of Right of Way Maps.
• Review Title Work.
• Reviews and signs survey drawings in support of Florida Department of Transportation projects.
• Writes and/or reviews legal descriptions and other survey documents.
• Analyse client needs and prepare technical reports.
• Assist in the occasional management of projects.
• Travel to field sites, as required by project.

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor's degree plus four years related experience OR an associate degree in a related technical field plus twelve years related experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) plus fourteen years related experience is required.
• Licensed in Florida through the Florida Board of Professional Surveyors and Mappers.
• Experience working with MicroStation SS10 and/or ORD.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with Right of Way Maps, Control Surveys, Monumentation Surveys, and Maintenance Maps.
• Ability to work under pressure and work as required to deliver before deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in conversations.
