What you´ll do

This is the age of AI – We are seeking a passionate developer to join our team at SAP Globalization. As an AI Developer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing ideas, conducting research on emerging AI topics, and implementing efficient code. 

 

What you bring

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, data science, or related field 
• 4+ years in software engineering  
• Expertise in software engineering and test-driven development 
• Cloud development experience 
• Fluent in both spoken and written English

High-Level Summary of Required Skillset for AI Application Developer

1. AI & Machine Learning Expertise

• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and SAP AI Core for AI-driven automation.
• Experience with predictive analytics, NLP, and chatbot development (e.g., Gradio, Python).

2. Cloud & Microservices Development

• Expertise in SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Foundry, and multi-tenant cloud architectures.
• Strong experience in Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST/OData API development.
• Knowledge of cloud security and scalability.

3. SAP Integration & Backend Development

• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Gateway services.
• Experience integrating SAP systems with third-party APIs and cloud services.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and Groovy for backend automation.
• Proficiency in SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) Framework for cloud-native application development.

4. SAP UI Development & Full-Stack Expertise

• Experience in SAP UI5 and Fiori for building modern SAP applications.
• Proficiency in VS Code and SAP Business Application Studio for development and debugging.
• Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven design, and database persistence.
• Familiarity with schema formats (JSON, XML, Avro) and serialization techniques.
