The primary purpose of this position is to develop and maintain the agency’s GIS program and provide support to agency staff working in the field. This support enables field teams to optimize their efforts in environmental monitoring, habitat restoration, and land management, ultimately enhancing the agency's ability to safeguard natural resources and ecosystems effectively. The GIS Program Analyst will guide the work of the others in the GIS program to develop analyses, tools, and training that support the agency’s needs.
