JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA, Department of Neural & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a part time Administrative Support Assistant.
The administrative support position will offer support on a wide variety of unit duties.
Human Resources actions will include supporting faculty with personnel needs which includes process and review routine payroll and human resources forms. Assist the Chair with calendar events. Work with the Chair on faculty actions including promotion/tenure, AC40 support and other actions as needed. Attend monthly faculty meetings. Create and maintain grant files and department files as needed. This position will need to have knowledge of department financial responsibilities. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to complete projects by deadlines.
This position will be remote and will be 20-25 hours per week, hybrid environment with one day in office per week. Basic knowledge of microsoft office suite, strong organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail a must. Preference will be given to qualified applicants with experience using Sap Concur, Infor Systems and those who have completed the Penn State ACES grant program.

- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
- Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check
