Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Private Duty, 30 Hours/Week

Union City, TN

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 2 PM

• Provide personalized care and support to a single patient in their home.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and document the patient’s health and report any changes to the nursing team.

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification in Tennessee.
• Previous home health experience preferred but not required—new grads welcome!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting clients with either personal care or home management tasks
• This would include assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding and ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care related tasks
• Home Management includes tasks that include basic housekeeping, shopping and other related housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirements is 18 years
• Valid driver's license, with satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy
• Certification, if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which the aide is to provide care
• Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
• Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach
