What You’ll Do

As a Referral Coordinator at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

  • Address the referral work queue daily and ensure timely scheduling of patients to the appropriate facility
  • Verify referral sources and confirm referrals are from the appropriate POA physician
  • Confirm patient insurance is accepted in PT prior to scheduling
  • Communicate regularly with Clinic Directors to provide feedback on front office operations and serve as a resource for improving efficiency
  • Provide coverage or assist with non-patient facing (and when possible, patient-facing) responsibilities at centralized IHG locations or clinics as needed
  • Undertake additional responsibilities essential for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of BOA workflows

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
