Key responsibilities of the role
As part of the global commercial team, the Sales Operations Partner will play a key role in supporting the Global Sales organization, by leading the forecasting and planning processes across our portfolio, managing the sales pipeline- both short and long term (across an assigned group of terminals) and leading the improvements for our sales execution processes. i.e. – PSM, Deal Cycle, Market and Competition Reviews,
This position will pro-actively analyze internal and external commercial performance, evaluate data and identify trends and lead policy changes to support the objectives of the commercial strategy.
Responsible for analysis of revenue and volume performance at across the global portfolio.
Review historical data and compare with current performance to identify patterns or discrepancies and decide on required actions.
Leads ongoing and proactive market analysis and benchmarking of competition to identify markets and terminals with new business opportunities for the Global Sales Leads to focus on. Strategical and tactical input is expected as output of this analysis. The position will work closely with Market Intelligence and Strategy.
Responsible to lead the volume forecasting process in coordination with Global Sale Leads and the terminals’ CCOs. The position is expected to collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Finance, particularly, during the budgetary cycles.
Work closely with our Global Sales Leads and support the customer facing negotiations and interactions. Support includes but is not limited to: Performing customer specific analysis, ensuring PSM methodology is followed in all key deals, meeting and negotiating with customers as support to the Global Sales Leads and KCMs.
Perform additional analysis that might be required outside of the regular corporate cadences. This includes but is not limited to: Deep dives and market studies, Voice of Customer feedback, extraordinary forecast revisions, new projects (Growth opportunities).
Lead Policy deployment support from a Global Sales function perspective.
Participate and lead Kaizens to enhance the commercial processes, company’s toplines and/or customer experience.
Provide coaching and mentoring to terminals’ commercial teams.
What we are looking for

5 years of more of experience in maritime industry.
Strong capability in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Strong business acumen, financial literacy and an understanding of business trends.
Ability to navigate through complex situations in a fast-paced environment.
Strong network and experience dealing with shipping line customers.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong presentation abilities.
Strong stakeholder management ability and experience.
