Your Responsibilities

 

As an Operations Accounting Site Lead for John Deere Cylinder located in Moline, IL, you will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Lead annual Normal Volume, Normal Overhead Study, Structure Line, and Lever Planning creation.  Also, oversee Standard Costing and CMS reporting.   
  • Responsible for tracking monthly overhead spending, creation of monthly budget reports and reviewing with leadership
  • Provide counsel to Business Unit management on proposed projects related to New Business, Sourcing Strategies, Capital Investment Projects, etc.  
  • Support Corporate and Division Requirements and Initiatives (CFIN, Project Marvel, Internal Controls)

What Skills You Need

 

  • 7 or more years of experience in financial accounting assignments in a manufacturing, marketing, or corporate environment 
  • Experience performing financial analysis and working with financial models         
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment 
  • Ability to work with functional areas outside of Accounting
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

 

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • Demonstrated process improvement skills
  • Excellent communication skills including presentation capabilities and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely on complex topics 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Standard Costing Experience (SAP, CMS)
  • Experience with PowerBI

 

Education

 

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelors degree in an Accounting/Finance discipline
