About the job
This position is needed to lead design for our Predictions team within Twilio Engage, Twilio’s customer engagement solution that works in tandem with the #1 CDP (Segment) to allow marketers to activate real time, first party data into personalized campaigns across every channel.
Decisions such as who a message should be sent to, what it should say, when it should be sent, and on what channel can be an arduous process that requires marketers to rely on a team of data scientists and siloed tools. The Predictions team’s mission is to empower marketer’s with machine learning-driven solutions that accelerate this decision making process. As the Lead Product Designer, you’ll define the end-to-end journey of how Marketers use predictive features to optimize campaigns to drive business results, partnering closely with Research, Product, and Engineering to drive this mission forward. This is a high visibility opportunity that is part of Twilio’s broader CustomerAI initiative, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the vision for how AI is fused into every aspect of sales, service and marketing.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and other product designers to help Predictions establish product market fit, launch new products, and shape the strategic vision for the integration of predictive features into Twilio's marketing products
- Keep a pulse on market trends, user needs, and business goals to drive innovative product experiences.
- Partner closely with research or lead your own research to gain insights into the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our users, and use these insights to create user-centric solutions that address real-world challenges.
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept ideation to delivering high-fidelity designs that empower, delight, and excite our users.
- Leverage our design system to solve customer problems creatively — and contribute to said design system.
